After many years of timing everything BUT track and field, 2024 was the year we threw our hat into that arena. The results were predictable...some stubbed toes early...but steady improvement...leading to our next step...becoming a "small to mid-sized meet" option for 2025.
At this point we do not feel ready to do mega meets, championship meets, or sectional meets. We are very content providing an electronic timing option at a reasonable fee for any middle school, jv, or regular-season varsity meets anywhere in the surrounding area.
We use Athletic.net software and FinishLynx equipment. We can supply hip numbers or use yours. And, especially for the early-season meets and large unlimited-entry meets, we will do events where athletes are entered at the starting line. This is especially helpful for minimizing the number of heats needed in the sprint events.
We would really enjoy getting our trailer onto the infield, but if that is not possible, we can work around that.
Unlike Cross-Country, Nordic Ski, Road Races and other events we time, we are ony able to time one track meet a day. Please reach out to us to get your meet on the schedule or with pricing questions and other inquiries.
We are very happy with our progress in this arena. Having said that, if you have meets that have been timed by more experienced timers and are happy with the job they've done, we strongly suggest that you stay with them. Our goal is to provide more options, focusing on meets that have not been electronically timed in the past and overflow on dates that fill due to weather-based cancellations.
