Big Ole Paddlefest Big Ole Paddlefest 7/18/2025 Alexandria, MN The Big Ole SUPathon is a fun adventure paddle on Alexandria's Chain of Lakes and Long Prairie River. On Fri., July 15th, stand up paddleboarders, kayakers & canoeists paddle scenic lake-to-lake courses of 4.5, 12 or 26 miles. On Sat., July 16th, the Long Prairie River Cruise is a gorgeous, family-friendly trip down a MN State Water Trail. The Big Ole SUPathon (BOS) welcomes paddlers of all crafts, skill levels, and children 12+. The BOS donates all profits to our local United Way. The BOS kicks off at 7A on Friday, July 15th with our signature event - the 26 mi Big Ole SUPathon! The 12 mi SVEN begins at 10A, and the 4.5 mi LENA starts at 12P. Friday’s courses are well-supported by volunteers with snacks & water. Guide boats are utilized on larger lakes and key stretches are marked by buoys. Medals are awarded to the 3 fastest men's and women's paddleboarders and kayakers of each event, and all finishers of the marathon! Our top fundraisers & volunteers are also recognized at the Post-Paddle Party at Arrowwood Marina. The Long Prairie River Cruise (LPRC) is on Saturday, July 16th. The 10 mi LPRC starts at 9A at the Lake Carlos Marina, the 8 mi begins at 10A at the Hwy 29 LPR Access in Carlos, and both cruises end at the Belle River bridge.
Lucky Days Lucky Days 7/19/2025 Luck, WI All participants receive a t-shirt and complimentary fruit and water at the finish line. Stay for Lucky Days and Main Street festivities after the race. Proceeds go to the Luck Alumni Scholarship Association for Luck High School graduates that pursue a 2 or 4 year degree.This event will be chip timed.
Xenia Ave Marathon and Half Xenia Ave Marathon and Half 7/26/2025 Champlin, MN Welcome to the 3rd Annual Xenia Avenue Marathon & Half-Marathon. If you’re looking for a low key, certified, flat and fast marathon or half-marathon to check off the letter X on your way to completing the alphabet, then look no further. Our event is co-sponsored by the Champlin Park High School Cross Country Running Booster Club and all proceeds (i.e., your whole entry fee) from the event will go to the booster club to help our high school and middle school cross country runners. Examples of the items that the Booster Club provides to the runners include funding for buses to the Luther College Invitational Meet and The Swain Cross Country Invitational, race meet shelters, team shorts and singlets, summer mileage awards.
Weeping Willa 5K Weeping Willa 5K 7/26/2025 Victoria, MN This event is dedicated to individuals and families who have experienced the tragic loss of a child at ANY stage of life; including, but not limited to - pregnancy: miscarriage, TFMR, or stillbirth. All funds raised will directly go to financially support individuals/families with the necessary resources needed to move forward with the grief that comes with loss. Weeping Willa 501c(3) is a non-profit organization created by grieving parents for grieving parents who want to create community to grieve together. No two losses are the same, but we share the understanding of how painful it is to have experienced the tragic loss of a child(ren). Weeping Willa’s mission is to bring light to the memory of our loved ones lost too soon, while instilling hope that each step forward brings in supporting this cause. We are here to walk alongside you; whether participating in the 5k run/walk or 1 mile walk (we will have a kids fun run, too!), it’s more than just a race - it’s a family friendly event celebrating the lives lost too soon
