In celebrating 140 years of Fairfax with the Dayz of Thunder city celebration, and in hopes of promoting good health, the Fire-Rescue-Ambulance Department thought it’d be a great idea to add to the weekend’s events and bring back a road race! Start/finish line will be at Memorial Park. We’ll start the event with packet pick-up and same-day registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Park. The kids will get ready to leave the start line for their 1k race at 6:00 p.m. Following the finish of the kids race, participation of the 5k run/walk will line up for a start time of 6:30 p.m. After the race grab a snack and something to drink for replenishment while we announce awards! <.p> |
