I started Running For Ronald because of my brother Mason. He had a congenital heart defect, which made it very difficult to pump blood from parts of his body. Doctors told my parents that he needed a heart transplant and that he needed to have open heart surgery. My family went down to the Ronald McDonald house in Missouri and stayed for 5 dollars a night. They showed nothing but compassion to my family. They found a heart for my brother but unfortunately, they were unable to get it to him in the correct amount of time. As a part of the family, I wanted to do something to say thank you. By doing this race we are returning the generosity that they gave my family in the past. Also, by doing this race I can help families that are in the same or similar situation as mine was many years ago.

This organization is a nonprofit organization that is benefiting the common good of the people who are affected and marginalized by this issue of sickness and health. Everyone involved will does their best to help the organization achieve its goals and build the organization up to be better for the future.
